Get Ready for Big Give on March 12th!
I-House will be participating in UC Berkeley's Big Give, a 24-hour online fundraising blitz on March 12th. Help make an impact on International House residents with your gift at biggive.berkeley.edu between 9 p.m. on March 11 and 9 p.m. March 12 (PST).
All I-House Big Give donations go toward the Fund for I-House, which supports our mission and provides the I-House experience to more than 600 students from across the globe each academic year.
Earlybird Giving
You can make your Big Give gift now and be an I-House VIP by using the special instructions below:
- Go to: biggive.berkeley.edu/vip
- Enter $ amount, click Continue.
- Click Browse List. Make sure you click the Programs button!
- Choose a Program, scroll to > International House
- Choose a Giving Opportunity, scroll to > The Fund for I-House
- Follow the prompts to make your secure gift.

All checks need to be made out to UCBF, noted that it is for Big Give for I-House, and must be received at I-House no later than 12 p.m. on 3/12/2020. Checks can be mailed to 2299 Piedmont Ave, Berkeley, CA 94720, or dropped off.

Gala update:
The Celebration and Awards Gala for April 2020 has been canceled due to the uncertainties caused by the coronavirus. The Gala in Spring 2021 is scheduled for April 29, 2021.
I-House Dining Featured in Foodservice Director Magazine
We would like to share with you all a wonderful article written about International House Dining Services, published in the February 2020 issue of Food Service Director Magazine. Read the two-page article, When the World Comes to Dine (PDF file) featured on pages 48 -49.
We've set a standard around campus as students, faculty, and staff from other facilities are frequently spotted in our Dining Commons. Congratulations to the entire Dining Services team!
