Dear Alumni and Friends,
As current residents eagerly anticipate Spring Break, I-House applications for summer, next academic year, and financial aid are now open. Please help us spread the word.
I encourage you to register for three upcoming opportunities organized by the Robertson Center for Intercultural Leadership and Programs. Please see details below for the next event in the Lodestar Speaker Series made possible by Chevron, "Paving the Way: A Celebration of Women's History Month" on March 21st. The Spring Resident Benefit Concert, followed by a silent art auction and reception, will be held on March 22nd with proceeds benefiting earthquake relief in Turkey and Syria. Please also plan to join us at the International Culture Festival on April 8th - an I-House tradition supported by the Edith S. Coliver Fund.
If you’re living in New York or if you’ll be in the area, please let us know if you can join me at a gathering of I-House Berkeley alumni and friends, hosted by I-House alumna, Lynn Caporale (IH 1967-72), in Manhattan, NYC on April 19!
We have heard from many alums that there is an eagerness to come back to visit, to reconnect with friends, to see the recent restorations, and to celebrate the I-House magic. Please save the date for an all-years alumni gathering at I-House on August 6th!
Soon, you will be receiving a survey from me seeking advice and feedback from alumni and friends. Thank you in advance for taking a few moments to help me, the I-House Board, and staff to begin to plan and prepare for the next hundred years of I-House!
Finally, many thanks to all those who participated in the annual campus Big Give 24-hour online appeal! Go Bears!
Sincerely,
Shaun R. Carver Ed.D., MBA
