I-House Times Newsletter: A Place for Peace

October 4, 2024

Dear Friends of I-House,

As we celebrate another vibrant academic year, it is with great pride and joy that I share this latest edition of the I-House Times Newsletter with you. With our community expanding to welcome 623 residents from 82 countries, we continue to embody our mission of fostering global understanding and peace. At I-House, borders are transcended daily, thanks to the Robertson Resident Life & Intercultural Development Office, which nurtures empathy and cultural intelligence. These programs provide a platform for personal growth that fuels lifelong learning and friendships.

In this issue, y
ou’ll find stories of alumni gatherings across the world, as well as exciting news about the launch of the Barbara Lynch and Art Flores Memorial Scholarship. You’ll discover how I-House continues to be a hub for individuals who are broadening their cultural perspectives and making meaningful connections that last a lifetime.

Additional highlights include:

  • Resident Statistics for the 2024-25 Academic Year: A snapshot of the residents that make I-House their home.
  • Board Member Transitions: Welcoming new leaders and thanking those who have served.
  • Annual Honor Roll of Donors: Recognizing the invaluable support of our donors.
  • Back to Berkeley and Alumni News & Notes: Updates from our global network of I-House alumni.

Enjoy! And thank you for your continued support for I-House.
