Eating together is an essential component of the I-House experience; therefore, the meal plan is included for all I-House residents. Residents will swipe their IDs and enter the dining commons once per meal period (19 available meal periods per week). Non-residents may pay the guest rate for each meal, or purchase a meal plan at the rates below:

Step-by-Step Guide to Purchasing a Meal Plan:
1. Create an Account or Log In
Access your International House StarRez portal by creating an account or logging in to your existing one.
2. Provide Your Information
Enter your UC Cal ID details and upload your profile picture.
3. Select "Shopping Cart"
Navigate to the "Shopping Cart" section.
4. Choose and Pay for Your Meal Plan
Select the meal plan that suits you and proceed with the payment.
Once you've completed these steps, simply come to the I-House Dining Hall on the 2nd floor during dining hours. Use your Cal ID to open the International House building doors by tapping your card on the card readers.

Please note that unused meals do not carry over and meal swipes are not transferable or convertible to cash. Meal plans can only be used at I-House, as we are not associated with CalDining.
