Resident Retreat: Global Connections (Spring 2025)

Join us for an overnight retreat at Green Mountain Retreat, designed to welcome you into I-House's global community through cultural exchange, physical and outdoors group activities, and intercultural skill-building. Registration opens on 10AM Pacific Time, January 08, 2025, and closes on 10AM Pacific Time, January 10, 2025.**Retreat registration usually fills up very quickly, so make sure to be ready to sign up when it opens.

Cost: FreeYou can register in International House at UC Berkeley Eventbrite page. You can view full agenda in our Eventbrite Page. Follow us on Eventbrite for future events that require registrations. For registration, you will need the following:
- Your unique I-House Resident ID found in I-House Resident portal Do not enter your Cal ID number.
- I-House room number (include A or B if applicable)
- Email address (I-House Portal preferred email)
- Waitlist: Ticket are non-transferable. There will be 30 waitlist tickets. If a ticket becomes available, you will be contacted automatically with further instructions on how to register. If you do not sign up on time, your ticket will be offered to next person in the waitlist in the order of the waitlist registered.
Cancellation Policy: Please Read Before Registering
By registering for our I-House programs and events, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this cancellation policy.

Only I-House residents are eligible to attend this event. If you're not a resident, your registration will be cancelled.

One ticket per resident due to limited availability. If more bookings are made under the same name and/or I-house ID number any additional registrations will be canceled.

If you have any outstanding conduct issues with I-House or our affiliated institution, your ticket may be subject to cancellation.

Residents who have already attended Fall 2024 Resident Retreat may have their tickets canceled to accommodate as many residents as possible and ensure fair attendance opportunities.

Please follow our event registration guidelines and procedures. Failure to do so might result in ticket cancellation.
- There will be a cut-off time to check-in, failure to arrive on time will result in not being allowed to attend. Late arrival will be considered a no show and will be given to the next person on the waitlist.
Cancellation Requests
If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. We understand that unexpected situations can arise, so if you're facing an emergency, please reach out to rio@ihouseberkeley.org as soon as possible.
**No-shows or last-minute cancellations without written notice may result in automatic cancellation of your registration for future I-House events, including Sunday Supper.
Logistics
- Transportation: Provided from I-House to Green Mountain Retreat. Mandatory group travel to and from the venue (no self-arranged transportation accommodations allowed)
- Sleeping arrangements: Rooms sleep 2-4 people, with blankets, pillows, and sheets included
- Food:
- Catered by Green Mountain Retreat
- Vegan and vegetarian options available
- Snacks available throughout the day and on bus rides
- Activities include physical games both indoors and outdoors. Expect a sunny day filled with fun activities, including some water-based games. Remember to bring your water bottles to stay hydrated.
